We have great news for our Florida market; we are excited to announce the addition of Portland-Limestone Cement (PLC) Type IL to our extensive line of bagged cement products beginning January 2022! Argos Type IL will be available in a 94lb bag from our Newberry and Tampa cement plants. This product is more environmentally friendly than regular Type I/II Portland cements but is engineered to maintain a similar performance, while lowering the carbon footprint by about 10%.
While we are currently only offering this bagged product in the Florida market, we are continually working to bring this cement product in bags to several of our other cement plants, making it more widely available in our other markets. Stay tuned for more updates!
