Argos among the recognized companies in the FTSE4Good Sustainability Index

Investors who are committed to sustainable companies now have the new selection of the FTSE4Good at their disposal. The FTSE4Good is an index created by FTSE Russell to measure the performance of companies that demonstrate solid Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices, and one of the main in the world, along with the DJSI Sustainability Index. This year, Argos is again among the leading companies in the construction materials sector with strong ESG practices.

The companies in the FTSE4Good Sustainability Index are evaluated on more than 150 indicators that cover topics such as efficient use of water, climate change, biodiversity, health and safety, labor standards, human rights and communities, fiscal transparency, corporate governance, and anti-corruption.

This news joins the recognition Argos received in the latest version of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index as one of the most sustainable companies in its sector and has received the silver medal in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2021.
