UNDERSTAND HOW YOUR PROJECT CAN BENEFIT FROM THE USE OF ADDITIVES

Almost as important as the concrete you use are the products that support your specific concrete application. Whether that is the type of fiber, admixtures, accelerators or plasticizers, the right additives can play a significant role in the effectiveness of your solution or the project as a whole. We offer only the best quality of related products and will customize these for your specific admixture to give you the best possible end result. Contact us to learn more about what additives are right for your project’s specifications.

FIBER

Using fiber in combination with the right concrete mix can add an additional level of strength and durability to your project. We offer a variety of micro and macro fibers, depending on the needs of your application.

WATER REDUCERS

Water reducing admixtures help increase the strength of concrete, while also allowing the concrete to achieve higher slump. For sustainable and green applications, water reducers are a nice option because they also allow for higher strength with lower cement concrete, which results in lower CO2 emissions and energy usage per cubic yard.

SHRINKAGE REDUCERS

Admixtures designed for reducing shrinkage can help minimize shrinkage cracking and increase the durability of the final product. This is helpful for applications where shrinkage joints are undesirable or not possible.

PLASTICIZERS

The use of plasticizers can help increase the strength of your end product and reduce the permeability. Often, plasticizers also allow you to achieve higher slumps and improve workability of the concrete.

RETARDER

Retarder admixtures are designed specifically to delay the concrete setting process. These admixtures are particularly helpful in high temperature and paving applications.

ACCELERATOR

Accelerators reduce the initial set time and allow for high early strength. Accelerators are particularly helpful when pouring concrete in cold weather conditions.

AIR ENTRAINMENT

Chemical admixtures can be used to produce microscopic air bubbles, called entrained air, and help increase the durability of the concrete by providing better resistance to the effects of freezing and thawing. Air entrained concrete also offers increased workability and durability, and it resists cracking better than traditional concrete.

CORROSION INHIBITOR

Corrosion inhibitors can be used to slow corrosion in steel reinforced applications.
