Donation helps local community and prevents waste
The employees at our Martinsburg Cement Plant recently donated over 100 feet of scrap conveyor belt to the local high school. The upcycled conveyor belt was put to good use by the students who lined the sideline of their football field with it, keeping the students’ feet clean and dry from the mud that had resulted from the recent rainfall.
By upcycling this conveyor belt, the employees at Martinsburg were able to help their local community and prevented the waste that would have occurred otherwise. By thinking outside of the box, our team was able to reuse and repurpose to benefit others.
